Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Betstr mobile application ("App") or website ("Website") (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: You must be 18 years of age or older to use Betstr. By using this service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Platform Coverage: These Terms apply equally to all users accessing Betstr through:

• Mobile applications (iOS and Android)

• Website (BetstrApp.com)

• Any other current or future access methods

What is Betstr?

Betstr is a social betting and research hub - your first stop before placing any bet. We combine powerful data analysis tools, a vibrant community, and expert knowledge to help you make smarter betting decisions.

Research with our data tools, validate ideas with the community, learn from verified experts, and connect with fellow bettors who share your passion.

Our Mission: We're Pro-Bettor, Not Pro-Book. We exist to level the playing field by giving you the same tools, data, and expert knowledge that professionals use.

Platform Features:

• Professional-grade data and research tools

• Social betting community and validation

• Verified expert cappers with transparent track records

• Subscription-based access to Capper content

• Individual pick purchases using credits

• Digital product sales (guides, reports, consultations)

• Community features and social interactions

⚠️ ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. This includes but is not limited to:

• Subscription purchases (monthly, weekly, or any duration)

• Credit purchases

• Individual pick unlocks

• Digital products (guides, reports, courses)

• Consultation bookings (once confirmed by the Capper)

Rationale: Digital content is delivered immediately upon purchase. Once you have access to picks, analysis, or digital products, the content cannot be "returned" as it has been consumed.

Exceptions - Refunds may be issued ONLY in these circumstances:

1. Technical Error: If you were charged incorrectly due to a system error

2. Service Not Provided: If a Capper cancels a confirmed consultation booking

3. Fraud: If unauthorized charges were made to your account

4. Platform Error: If content was not delivered due to platform malfunction

To request a refund for exceptional circumstances, contact support@BetstrApp.com within 48 hours of the transaction.

Try Before You Buy:

• Many Cappers offer trial periods or short-term subscriptions

• Review Capper performance statistics and user reviews

• Start with lower-priced options before committing

• Use promotional credits to test picks

Cancellation Rights:

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (App or Website). Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access until the end of your current billing period

• NO REFUND will be provided for the unused portion

• Your subscription will not auto-renew for the next billing cycle

Subscription Changes:

You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time:

• Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle

• NO REFUNDS are provided for unused time on your current plan

• NO PRO-RATED CREDITS are issued when downgrading

Payment Hold Period:

All Capper earnings are subject to a 48-hour fraud detection hold after each transaction. This protects both Cappers and subscribers from unauthorized transactions, fraudulent activity, and chargebacks.

Available vs Pending Balance:

• Available Balance: Funds that have cleared the 48-hour hold and are ready for payout

• Pending Balance: Funds still within the 48-hour fraud detection period

Payout Requests:

Cappers may request payouts only for their Available Balance. Minimum payout thresholds apply based on the selected payout method.

Credit Types:

• Purchased Credits: Credits bought with real money, used for pick purchases

• Promotional Credits: Free credits awarded through promotions, cannot be withdrawn

Credit Expiration:

• Purchased credits do not expire

• Promotional credits may have expiration dates as specified in the promotion terms

• Expired promotional credits cannot be restored

No Cash Value:

Credits have no cash value and cannot be:

• Exchanged for cash

• Transferred to other users

• Refunded once purchased

Capper Content:

All picks, analysis, and content posted by Cappers remain their intellectual property. Subscribers are granted a limited, non-transferable license to view content during their active subscription period.

Prohibited Actions - Users may not:

• Share, redistribute, or resell Capper content

• Screenshot or record content for distribution

• Use automated tools to scrape or download content

• Impersonate Cappers or other users

No Gambling Guarantees:

Betstr does not guarantee winning bets. Sports betting involves risk, and:

• Past performance does not guarantee future results

• All picks are for informational purposes only

• Users are responsible for their own betting decisions

Platform Availability:

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

• Service interruptions or downtime

• Data loss due to technical issues

• Missed betting opportunities due to platform issues

Third-Party Services:

We integrate with third-party services (Stripe, odds providers). We are not responsible for:

• Third-party service failures

• Accuracy of third-party data

• Third-party terms of service violations

User-Initiated Termination:

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion:

• All subscriptions are immediately cancelled

• NO REFUNDS are provided for active subscriptions

• Unused credits are forfeited

• Content access is immediately revoked

Platform-Initiated Termination:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Terms of Service violations

• Fraudulent activity

• Abusive behavior toward other users

• Illegal activities

Terminated users forfeit all credits and subscriptions without refund.

Contact Support First:

Before initiating any formal dispute, contact support@BetstrApp.com. We will work in good faith to resolve issues.

Arbitration Agreement:

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings, except where prohibited by law.

Class Action Waiver:

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via:

• In-app notifications (mobile)

• Website banners and notices

• Email to registered users

• Prominent notice on the Platform

Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

When accessing Betstr via our website (BetstrApp.com):

Browser Requirements:

• Modern, supported web browser required (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge - latest versions)

• JavaScript must be enabled for full functionality

• Cookies required for authentication and core features

• Secure HTTPS connection (enforced automatically)

Your Responsibilities:

• Verify you are on the official BetstrApp.com domain

• Never enter credentials on suspicious or phishing sites

• Report security concerns to security@BetstrApp.com

• Maintain secure internet connection

• Responsible for your own data charges

Feature Parity:

The website provides core Betstr functionality including research tools, community features, and account management. Some features may be optimized for mobile app use. Both platforms share the same account, data, and subscriptions.

Web Security:

• Always verify the URL is BetstrApp.com

• Look for the padlock icon in your browser

• Never share your login credentials

• Log out on shared or public computers
